A choice of four powerful Magnum™ engines gives you the opportunity to excel at any task.
The Magnum 3.9L V6 delivers 175 hp at 4,800 rpm and 225 lb-ft of torque at 3,200 rpm. It's standard on 1500 models. The Magnum 5.2L V8 provides 225 hp at 4,400 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque at 3,200 rpm. It's standard on 2500 and 3500, and optional on 1500. The Magnum 5.2L CNG V8 kicks out 200 hp at 4400 rpm and 250 lb-ft of torque at 3600 rpm. You'll find this available on 2500 and 3500. The Magnum 5.9L V8 gives you a whopping 245 hp at 4,000 rpm and 335 lb-ft of torque at 3,200 rpm. It's optional on 1500, 2500 and 3500 models. Automatic transmissions with a lockout torque-converter feature a clutch that automatically engages in top gear which helps increase fuel economy and reduce transmission fluid temperature.
You get great towing capability, too, with a maximum trailer weight rating of 8,600 pounds, when properly equipped.*
